Why take Mium Lab tanning gummies?
The dangers of tanning
Who hasn't dreamt of having a beautiful tan when returning from their holidays, or even throughout the year? But be careful, exposing yourself to the sun for hours without taking precautions or even going for an artificial tan is not the right option!
UV rays from the sun or tanning booths can have harmful effects on our skin. Repeated sunburn and exposure to the sun can accelerate skin ageing and cancers such as melanomas.
But in addition to this, the eyes can be damaged by UV light, contributing to early onset cataract or macular degeneration.
How can you safely work on your tan?
Is it possible to get a nice tan without risking your health? Yes! But you should take certain precautions.
The first piece of advice to follow is not to give in to tanning booths! Of course it's a quick way to get a tan, but it's also very harmful since UVA rays are used and penetrate much deeper than those of the sun.
There are other essential tips to follow such as using sun cream regularly and reapplying it every 2 hours, avoiding exposure between 12 noon and 4pm, and protecting your head and eyes.
Tanning food supplements are also a good option to limit skin ageing while promoting a tanned complexion to limit prolonged exposure to the sun!
How do you choose tanning food supplements?
A good tanning food supplement must contain active ingredients that promote the production of melanin, a pigment that gives the skin its dark colour, such as Beta-carotene or Copper. But it must also protect the skin from the sun with an antioxidant effect that limits cell ageing (such as beta-carotene or Astaxanthin).
The eyes are also exposed to UV rays; food supplements with active ingredients that protect the retina (such as Lutein) are therefore recommended.
