Hawthorn is known for its calming, soothing anti-stress and antispasmodic properties. It also helps relieve sleep problems caused by anxiety and/or nervousness.
Hawthorn is a thorny, bush-like plant that can grow up to 4 m tall. Its resounding success in herbal medicine can be attributed to its multitude of active ingredients, such as flavonoids and sterols, which give it antispasmodic and calming properties.
