Ingredient - Probiotics

BENEFITS:

Lactic ferments improve digestion and intestinal flow by balancing the intestinal microbiota (gut flora).

DESCRIPTION:

Lactic ferments are probiotics, i.e. bacteria that are not pathogenic to our bodies and have positive health effects. These bacteria are traditionally used to ferment milk (yoghurt, cheese...) and are present in many foods. They help maintain the integrity of the intestinal wall by taking the place of pathogenic bacteria and thus strengthen our immune defences.

Lactic ferments have other benefits; they are also known to limit problems associated with poor digestion (bloating, intestinal pain etc.). Among the best known probiotics are Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria.

DID YOU KNOW?

Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria allow, among other things, certain people who are intolerant to milk lactose to consume other dairy products such as yoghurt or cheese because of their fermenting power.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS:

When probiotics are first taken, they can sometimes lead to digestive problems, but these undesirable effects quickly disappear by the time the digestive system gets used to the new function. Otherwise, you should consult a health care professional.

Even though these bacteria are foreign to our bodies, no studies have proven that there is a potential risk of infection. However, as a precautionary measure, their use is not recommended for people with immune disorders. For pregnant women, there are no restrictions, but a doctor's opinion is still recommended.
